2023-onward Images from Personal Ties: Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn are installed as a 35mm film strip in King County Metro bus shelter #8110 northbound on Rainier Avenue South and South Rose Street in Seattle, Washington. Curated by Photographic Center Northwest and King County Metro, the film strip is one of 100 images chosen to be printed on 2’ x 8’ exterior grade signage material and installed in bus shelters, where it may remain for up to ten years. Opening ceremony takes place March 16 at 7pm at Technische Sammlungen Dresden Museum of Science and Technology in Dresden, Germany, which will be live-streamed on YouTube. The photographs of the finalists exhibit in the museum until May 2, 2023.

The Photo Auction Benefit will feature signed prints and books from internationally-renowned photographers, as well as documentary images from the BDC community of emerging photographers. JULY 17, 2022 at 7:30pm The Tate Family, Lincoln Center, and Photoville will honor Greg Tate's life and work with the pop-up exhibition, In Praise of Shadow Boxers, Dissonance & Dissidents. The exhibition features six-foot prints by 24 artists with whom Tate was in community and whose work he championed. Mounted on Photoville exhibition cubes, each image is accompanied by a personal statement by that artist about Tate. View the exhibition.

MAY 22-28, 2018 Talk in Images, presented by ICP in partnership with Huawei, explores the power of photography to act as a universal language. Notable visual storytellers lead conversations around topics such as “love,” “work,” and “hope” through photos posted on social media. A laboratory of sorts, the series explores the power of imagery to spark meaningful, socially engaged, and conscientious visual conversations on a global scale.

Talk in Images—Body, which includes this image, offers a first-look at the sixth theme of the series. Images from the series can be viewed during the day on monitors inside the ICP Museum and during evening hours on the windows of the museum. They can be viewed from the sidewalk outside the museum and are most visible after sunset.
