New York Young
A sub-series of Portrait Profiles, New York Young is a series about young people in New York City. Ranging in ages from about seven to 18, this portrayal of urban burgeoning is an empathetic view of confidence and inexperience.
Portrait Profiles are sets of typologies that were inspired by long walks on the streets of New York City. After observing so much diversity, I started wanting to connect the patterns I saw and do one of the many things photography does best: place people from different times and places together in order to tell a new story.
