The Insiders
A sub-series of Portrait Profiles, The Insiders is a collection that portrays individuality. A profound trait that is especially prominent in a population as diverse and massive as New York City's, The Insiders shows singularity has the unique dual ability to inspire both vulnerability and liberation, suggesting the two are interrelated.
Portrait Profiles are sets of typologies that were inspired by long walks on the streets of New York City. After observing so much diversity, I started wanting to connect the patterns I saw and do one of the many things photography does best: place people from different times and places together in order to tell a new story.
